This site commemorates Florida’s largest Civil War battle, which took place February 20, 1864. A reenactment of the battle is held every February, and there is a Civil War expo that takes place each summer. Every day guests can go the visitor center, which contains artifacts and tells the story of the battle. Additionally, visitors can walk along a one-mile trail complete with interpretive signs that follow the battle lines.
