Suwannee River State Park rests where the Withlacoochee River meets the Suwannee River. The State Park serves as a staple piece to Florida’s history holding one of the state’s oldest cemeteries, along with earthworks that date back to the Civil War.
The park includes five trails and scenic views stretching from the forest to the rivers. Activities include fishing, canoeing and swimming. Overnight accommodations can be made on their full-facility campground and cabins.
